Carabinieri seized 11 kilos of very clean cocaine. Albanians, aged 30 to 40, with two cars, were stopped on the highway.
It was the two cars, with large cylinders, German license plates, and guided by people with European visual views, that attracted doubts.
When they arrived at the pay point of the road, one went immediately to the side of the highway exit, the other taking the south.
This and the continued use of the mobile phone by the second carabinieri driver caused the Carabinieri to intervene, as they also requested the assistance of the Norwegian road police.
Following the ban, the two Albanians who were in the first car showed visible signs of nervousness, and said they came from Germany and stopped them from eating before going to Bari, where they would continue towards Albania.
The leader of the second tool said he did not know the first two and was going to Ancona, to continue to Albania, though there was neither booking nor knowing the ferry's departure schedule.
The fact that they had no luggage made authorities even more suspicious, which exercised detailed control, finding ten “Facebook” cocaine, worth over one million euros. The three Albanians were arrested and sent to the Verona prison.
