He has stressed that KSF respects the agreement with KFOR on sending troops to the northern part of the country, adding that they are ready for intervention if state territory is jeopardised.
“As for this sensitive issue we respect KFOR's mandate in Kosovo and at the same time KFOR respects our mandate. As for the northern part of Kosovo, we respect the agreement which is in force for obtaining KFOR's permission under military support for each citizen of the country indiscriminately”.
“The KSF 24 hours to 7 days of the week is in full condition for response to any violations or dangers that violate Kosovo's territory and citizens”, Isufi has said.
On the other hand, Isufi indicated that Defence Minister Armend Mehaj has been in constant contact with peacekeeping countries and that everything has been under control during the escalating situation in the north.
“Majaj has been in intensive contact with our authority, the commander of KFOR, the ambassadors of the QUINT states, and the US Embassy and everything has been in full control of”.
The chief of Strategic Communications showed where half the planned budget for the military will go.
“For 2022 are planned 55m euros for defence systems, including all the complexity of the defence system as educated, well-trained, and well equipped”.
Our orientation in this regard is also to buy defence systems that are in line with fulfilling the tasks that the appointed regiment has. In this respect, defence systems are to operate combat companies and combat support companies or artillery component”, Isufi said in Klan.
Whether KSF is near the first helicopters, Isufi said: “In the government has been discussed with the helicopter purchase project, we are currently in the initial stage of analysis, this air capacity will be in service of the KSF, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Health Ministry”.
“We have created a first pilot contingent, we have a built capacity and we are in the process of training other contingents”.
Besides having educated the first pilots in Turkey, even this year we have announced the competition with the offer the US has offered at the” Air Force Academy.
