Bulgaria's Prosecution: The accident occurred after a mysterious explosion

The number of victims was confirmed by the Defence Ministry in Bulgaria. According to initial information from MPB, among the victims are 12 children, five of them minors.

The State Prosecutor in Bulgaria has confirmed that until the accident, it has resulted from an explosion, but that what has caused it is not yet known, writes the Bulgarian newspaper Dnevnik.

The “task is getting more clear every hour it passes. Teams are questioning victims in Pirogov, two of them able to explain, others are in shock or intensive care, even without risk to life. Eyewitnesses at the scene were also questioned at a deputy state prosecutor, Borislav Sarafov.

He has confirmed there will be no investigation into the case in northern Macedonia, and the local prosecution will forward all necessary documents to its Bulgarian counterparts.

We remember that among the victims, most of them reported to be Albanians.
