The tragic accident has also been announced Bulgaria's Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to Bulgarian media reports, the bus was passenger from northern Macedonia.

According to initial data from the Struma highway, about 31km has been hit by a bus registered in the Republic of Northern Macedonia. As a result of the accident, 45 people have lost their lives. Police, fire departments and ambulances have long gone to the scene. As a result of their quick actions, seven people have been transported to the hospital for treatment. An inspection is under way. Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, Deputy Prime Minister Bujar Osmani and Health Minister Venko Filipce are currently travelling to Bulgaria, Macedonian state news agency MIA confirmed.
