“may be naive, but I do not expect anything”, said Brnabiq, the Balkan Radio Free Europe Service.
According to some media, some American congressers have called on Biden to consider imposing sanctions on specific persons who, as they have said, contribute to destabilising the situation in the Western Balkans.
In that letter, Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, is accused of deepening corruption and it is said that media freedom in Serbia has reached a new low point.
Pro-government media, said on paper, have advanced in the development of <x0 useful bilateral relations with Government”, while state company works “Telekom Srbija” are “covered in secret”.
Brnabyq said it is clear that the letter is the result of a lobby campaign.
Earlier, Serbia's president, Vuciq, has said it seems as if “somebody deliberately wrote against Telekom” and that he was found there “also as the” path.
“Enter resolution, write statements, write down whatever you want, at the end we all stand before the citizens of Serbia and they make the final decision”, Vuciq said.
The letter was signed by conventioners: Raja Krishnamorth, Ritchie Torres, David N. Cyril, Jan Schaowsky, James P. McGovern, Mike Quigley and Jim Costa.
