Valdis Dombrovskis, deputy executive chairman of the European Commission, said the situation was an issue of concern.
“We are committed to supporting the country's leaders in taking steps to descale, resume dialogue and address the essence of issues that are promoting tensions,” said Dombrovskis.
“All political parties must return to state institutions and make sure they operate smoothly”, he added.
