At first, Prime Minister Albin Kurti said Kosovo needs the help of the European Union “as the world's richest socioeconomic club”, while Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislim named the EU as the best partner for Kosovo.
Kurti cited some of his Government's affairs, while demanding that EU officials push ahead with the issue of visa liberalisation for Kosovo.
While Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi said that “as Government, we count on the European Union's continued support during our trip before”.
He said that Kosovo has a better partner than the EU, and that Kosovo has no better option.
“Reflecting once again that there is no better partner for Kosovo than the European Union and another better alternative, I wish you good work and constructive discussions”, Bislimi said.
