Bislimi: European Commission commended us in report for the license agreement

The first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialog Besnik Bislimi during reporting to the European Integration Commission made it known that the next meeting in Brussels between the chief negotiators will be held on 16 November next Tuesday.

While Bislimi stressed that in the European Commission's report on Kosovo, the government's work, such as the agreement on the plates, has been assessed.

On September 30th of this year (2021) in Brussels with the European Union's mediation agreement has been reached between Kosovo and Serbia. This was after the Kosovo government had decided 11 days earlier on reciprocity measures for license plates coming from Serbia. The move they reacted to from Serbia had even blocked border checkpoints at Jarinje and Brnjak.

Three points were in the agreement reached in Brussels. Within six months, from the start of the first meeting, the so-called Workgroup, will present the findings for a permanent solution to the format of the” high-level dialogue.

As of Thursday, Kosova Prees reported that the new round of talks at the top negotiating level will be held on Tuesday (November 16th).

Government spokesman Progress Kryeziu said the topic of discussion would be the issue of those with violence during the war, energy and free movement.
