According to him, armed conflict in the Western Balkans region could arise for no great reason, deepening that this has occurred in the former Yugoslavia.
I have four wars I have experienced in the former Yugoslavia. I have experienced Bosnia, Croatia, Slovenia not to talk about Kosovo and the crisis in northern Macedonia. They've all started for residential reasons and no one then knows why the war started and only counts the victims.
No one knows how to start conflict in Bosnia or Kosovo. A murdered man is needed in Bosnia and Herzegovina to start the war or north of Kosovo”, he said.
Baton Haxhiu said that although the region has had several wars, Serbia's people do not really know the weight of war because they have never been under attack.
“The Serbs have never had the weight of war as the other countries in the region have had, he said.
For Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, Haxhiu said his behaviours are showing that the goals are other than what he publicly expresses to Serbia “be maximum trust”.
“The actions that are taking place in Montenegro, Bosnia and Macedonia, Vuciq seems to be taking into account only his own interest and is not at all merciful or tolerant”, the analyst concluded.
