“Sic noted President Biden in his August video speech, Kosovo has made “extraordinary progress over the past 20 years” by building a multiethnic democracy”, it says in response.
“As Kosovo's staunch partner, the United States remains committed to working with Kosovo at other forums to advance and strengthen democracy, prevent democratic setbacks, promote respect for human rights and fight corruption, so that together we can testify that democracies provide for all people”.
On 9 December and 10 December in the United States, the Summit for Democracy will be held for the first time, while the media are already circulating lists with countries invited to be part of the summit.
