Kurti made this statement at the first conference of the Ministry of Trade and Industry with Pristina businesses.
Economic development cannot be achieved unless we provide support to private sector development with boosting production and export growth that will affect improving trade balance and boost employment. According to the Kosovo Central Bank's assessment, our economy has an accelerated growth of 9.9 per cent of the gross domestic product this year, compared to a year ago, tax revenues have increased by 33.5 per cent in the January-September period, meanwhile, exports by 68 per cent, while the number of employees since March-September has increased by 9 thousand and 351 employees. The increase in tax revenues has been made without changing fiscal policies”, Kurti said.
