In an interview for French media “France24” Prime Minister Edi Rama has spoken of Albania's EU integration.
For the head of the Albanian government, our country is struggling to sit at the first intergovernmental conference because of the situation between North Macedonia and Bulgaria.
We are in a very absurd situation to tell you the truth, because at the moment Albania is like a collateral damage to a conflict situation between Bulgaria and North Macedonia. Having received the green light not only from the Commission, but also from the European Council, Bulgaria has drawn the requirements of historical and identity to northern Macedonia, and the process remains blocked. As you know, the European Council is easily blocked by only one veto of one of its members”, the prime minister told French television. /Euronews/
