According to the BBC report, he ruthlessly shot 43-year-old Marian Savu after attending him from a party in Perry Barr and finally killed him on a street.
The event occurred in Birmingham on March 2nd.
The 35-year-old has denied the murder of Romania, the father of three children, but was convicted by a jury at the Birmingham Court.
Judge Francis Laird said that Hasa would initially be sentenced to a minimum of 23 years in prison, before an opportunity for release could be considered.
