This request, Gacka made during the 41st session of the U General Conference NESTO, which coincided with the 75th anniversary of this organisation's creation.
Kosovo's “include, not only would it be the right thing, but it is a must if the really priority is to address repeated claims regarding preserving cultural and historical heritage in Kosovo. Because the truth is there is no better and efficient way to deal with preserving cultural heritage than shared national and international efforts. Therefore, I sincerely hope that the reason will prevaluate and Kosovo will be welcome here, so that its citizens, Albanians, Serbs, and others, will join this large community and work together with other states in promoting the principles and values that unite us all”, Minister Gack said in her address.
Minister Gacka praised Albania's contribution to the UN system as it confirmed that its country supports reforms undertaken by the U. NESTO, for its strategic modernisation and transformation.
Welcoming and congratulateing the organisation on this anniversary, Gacka expressed confidence in the continuation of the organisation's unique role and contribution to addressing global challenges.
