The AAK's PDK say these elections are viewed as the increase and strengthening of opposition in Kosovo, with the criteria expressed ready to co-operate on topics in the country's interest.
spokesman The PDK, Faton Avdullahu, has told Online Economy that citizens in local elections have not preferred a kind of government they have now seen for eight months.
“We as the biggest opposition party since the February 14th elections took over the largest party, and this is encouraging to us. What is very important in this case is that the opposition in general has been strengthened in Kosovo. The PDK has also been strengthened, which gives me the right to come to the conclusion that the opposition in Kosovo has subsequently strengthened democracy and democratic processes”, Abdullahu has said.
It seems that the citizen by his vote in the last local elections has not preferred a kind of government he has now seen in eight months. The reasons vary. What he won The PDK is that we have offered a flexible and close and reliable alternative to the citizen of Kosovo. We have offered the best candidates with experience and youth and trust. The PDK is closer to citizen. This gives us a push to move on. This is a kind of approval that the changes that we started as the PDK citizen has detected, and on his vote he approved these changes”, he said.
Abdullahu has also talked about party reforms, saying the PDK will have a broader cabinet of President Memli Krasniqi.
Meanwhile, it says that making the opposition in the Parliament will not be the only job, but adding that it will also be a shadow government, a practice developed for several years.
“We will also have a broader cabinet of Chairman Krasniqi. We will have a shadow government that is a practice that has implemented The PDK even earlier and we believe that we will be in the much more successful opposition in relation to our work, respectively, to be critical of the government's actions with this particular institution that is the shadowy government that will take place at the beginning of next year”, he said.
According to him, The PDK has the door open for new frameworks. He said a ruling party is unable to break free from corrupt ideology, which is lying.
“The changes bring new frameworks, and what's going on in the PDK is to have new frameworks. So the PDK has the open door for new vaults. We have read these choices correctly as we did in the early elections. And they keep us from rushing into the actions we take. We make the changes better. When it comes to the political scene, governance, opposition, we need to understand that a political party which will be easier to remove people who are at odds with the law. But a political party finds it very difficult but impossible to break free from corrupt ideas. A ruling party is almost impossible to break free from the corrupt and converted ideology in government, which deceives and thinks that good jobs are done by words and that the citizen understands much faster than other things and reacts as he reacted in the last elections”.
AAK MP Time Kadriaj has said the third party has emerged in local elections, doubling the number of votes from the National Election mandate.
“We have emerged the third party in this election with the number of municipalities won and doubled with the number of votes from the national election mandate now in local elections, and the AAK has a political stability and we have now seen that with these elections by one mandate in the next mandate we have doubled the” votes, Kadriaj said.
