The 41-year-old dead of Kachanic who had gone out to pick mushrooms in the mountains

Police from the Ferizaj region through a media communique have stated that the victim's lifeless body was found at 17:30.

“Police station in Kacanic from the Ferizaj Regional Police Directorate yesterday at 5:30 p.m. has received information from a citizen that in the mountains of the village of Begraca of Kacanik, exactly at the place called the Qorup Quarter, a corpse body has encountered, decomposing. The Kacannik police and then investigators from the Regional Investigation Sector by the Ferizaj Regional Police Directorate have already left the country where the decomposing lifeless body was found and launched investigations”, the announcement said.

Police have made it known that the first investigation allegedly claimed that the missing person's lifeless body is Muhabi Islami, who is on the run from June 7th.

“From the first investigations, it is suspected to be the lifeless body of missing M.I.I (M/K) aged 43, who has been on the run since 07.06.2021. By the decision of the Prosecutor of the Founding Prosecutor at Ferizaj, the case has been named death investigation, and the body is sent to the Institute of Legal Medicine in Pristina for Infectation. Police, in co-ordination even with the Founding Prosecutor at Ferizaj, are continuing the investigation, collecting material and declarative evidence about the case and other information until the full identification of the body, you will be notified by the time”, the police report said.
