In 24 hours, 9,902 cases of the infected have been recorded. Such a figure has not been marked in this European Union country since March.
The number of hospital patients passed 2,000 for the first time since May. Of them 288 are in intensive care.
Chekhia, as are other Central European countries, is marking an increase in cases of COVID-19.
Authorities have made efforts to avoid overload in hospitals by increasing the vaccine rate.
Over 6 million people in the country of 10.7 million people have been completely vaccinated.
By the end of October, this country has started with the implementation of new anti-coronvirus measures, which include wearing masks in all closed environments, including jobs.
Chekhia has marked over 30,000 victims of the disease since March 2020.
