In a communique, S. M, once again testified that violence against women continues to remain one of the least punishable forms of violence.
“E however, when the killer was sentenced to life imprisonment in December 2020 by the Constitutional Court in Gjilan, it appeared that justice did part of its work, condemning the criminal, though not preventing crime. Today, however, we are witnessing that when they speak of women's murders, justice is closing its eyes”.
RRGK calls on the Supreme Court as the Supreme Court higher than that of Apel to review this decision and turn it into a preliminary punishment - a life sentence.
This is the only way we will be convinced that our country, justice institutions and defence institutions are in charge of duty whenever the violence and murder of women” is addressed, it is now said.
The point is that RGK will not stop until violence against women is treated as just daily news or as private matters.
