Vuciq: UN Security Council meeting solves nothing for Kosovo

On the eve of the UN Security Council's session for Kosovo, Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, said he does not believe it will solve anything for Kosovo. I don't think there will be any solution, because whatever Albanians do, they always have the support of the big five. We [...]

I don't think there will be any solution, because whatever Albanians do, they always have the support of the big five. We can expect support from Russia and China and several smaller countries, but this will not change things on the ground”, Vuciq said, broadcast the REL.

With the big five, Vuciq appeared to refer to permanent members of the Security Council.

The session is scheduled for October 15th. It is a regular meeting for Kosovo, where the United Nations Mission report is presented.

The report includes the period March 16, September 15, 2021.

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani will also attend this meeting.

The meeting will take place two days after a new crisis in northern Kosovo, where local Serbs protested violently due to an anti-smuggled Kosovo Police operation.
