Haradinaj's shell is being charged with criminal acts against justice administration.

Through the online platform “Zoom”, Chief of Information and Public Communication in DHSK, Angela Greep, at the media conference held on September 30th, has made it known that at the 7th session, the chairman of the court will make the trial, will ask the Special Prosecutor's Office (ZPS) to read the indictment, and ask the accused if they understood the charges against them.

In turn, she declared Haradinaj's Gucati will be informed by the chairman of the court of some of their rights and obligations during the trial, and then continued with the prosecution's opening statement.

However, the hearing of the first witness in this case has said that it is expected to begin on 18 October.

The same has also made it known that the target date for the prosecution to complete the presentation of its case is November 9th.

Hysni Gucati and Nasim Haradinaj are being charged with criminal acts against justice administration, namely obstructing official persons in performing official duties, in fearing witnesses, in retaliation and in violation of the secret of the procedure, reports the “Justice Voughty”.

The “The charges presented in the confirmed indictment rely on well-based suspicion that at least between 7 September and 25, 2020, Mr. Gucati and Mr. Haradinaj uncovered without authorisation protected information from the Specialised Chambers Law, among which identifying data of several (possibly) witnesses, in three press conferences and other broadcast activities, as well as further distribution involving statements on social networks”, it was said in the announcement of the Specialised Chambers.

Gucati and Haradinaj are charged with making derogatory comments against potential witnesses and repeatedly expressed their intention to undermine the work of the Specialised Chambers.

With these actions, Mr. Gucati and Mr. Haradinaj violated the secret of the procedure and feared witnesses (possibly) of the Specialised Prosecutor's Office and subsequently prevented the work and investigations of SPS”, the Kosovo Specialised Chambers announced.
