A tough race in Gjakova: Djind talks about possibility of coalitions in runoff

Among the municipalities that vote in the second round is the Gjakova municipality.
In this municipality, the first to approach victory was AAK candidate Ardian Gjini with 46.00 per cent, going to the runoff with Vetevendosje Movement candidate Mimoza Kusari-Lila, with 37.08 per cent of the vote.
These two candidates, left behind the other candidates -- from the PDK, the Red Queen with 3,39 per cent, the LDK's -- with 5.60 per cent, Ferdinand Kolaj from P The SHDK with 6,64 per cent, and Fazli Hoxha from NISMA with 1,29 per cent.
In this regard, news.net has contacted the AAK candidate for the Gjakova municipality, Ardian Gjini, regarding the possibility of any coalition with any of the potential parties for the second round elections.
According to Djind, it is early to discuss any coalition, but he explained that he is working on the issue.
“We are working in this direction, it's still early”, Djind said February.
Meanwhile, the second round elections are expected to be held on November 14th.
In the October 17th elections, there was a percentage of 45% of citizens who chose to vote for their municipal representatives.
