It is believed that the medical team decided to recommend its hospitalization for “practical reasons”.
This is the first time in eight years the queen has been hospitalised.
After medical advice to rest for several days, the Queen went to hospital on Wednesday afternoon for some preliminary analysis and returned to the Winter Castle today ( Thursday) at lunch and is in a good mood,” - said the Palace Declaration.
It is believed that this is only the fifth time she is hospitalised in 40 years.
