To take a closer look at the implementation of this agreement point, Interior Minister Jedal Svecla visited the border checkpoint at Jarinje and Brnjak.
Through a media communique from the MPB says that “the Ministry of Internal Affairs and subordinate agencies, including Kosovo Police in time, have made the necessary preparations, both in terms of the commitment of human resources and the administrative and logistics, which include stickers, so that the implementation of the agreement can begin over time and citizens can be given faster equipment to move with their vehicles without a problem.
Back from MPB, the implementation of the agreement has started without a problem.
“Ven to suggest that implementation of the agreement has started without any problems at the country level and at all border points, and for that the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Kosovo Police will see to it that implementation continues in this form. In addition to Minister Svecla, officials of all institutions, in particular police officials for non-responsive work and unhurt engagement in the country's interest, national security and implementation of the agreement. At the same time, the minister during the visit and meeting with leaders of two border points, including the head of the new station of border officials, pledged that he would continue supporting and supporting the creation of infrastructure and better working conditions”, the communiqué said.
Similar visits to the northern part of the Republic of Kosovo, the minister also paid several police units, which were on patrol in carrying out official office.
During this visit, it was required that Kosovo police continue with concrete commitments in law enforcement, in providing security, maintaining order and calm, preventing cross-border crime and smuggling, as well as enabling the circulation of free movement of people and goods, and in particular open borders, well-controlled and safe.
