According to the medium in question, the 25-year-old, who has been arrested under suspicion of killing Ames, is seen walking along the sidewalk Friday morning.
Video footage was taken from outside a store at Highgate Road at 8:44 a.m.
Ali, who lived several blocks away from the event, was thought to be walking to the Gospel Oak railway station at the time.
Police are investigating Ali's movements in the hours before the attack.
The conservative MP was stabbed to death Friday while carrying out an electoral meeting in a church. The 69-year-old was meeting with voters when the attack occurred.
