Stanisic's sentence sought, charged with killing 13 civilians in Lipjan

In the trial under way against the accused, Goran Stanisic for the murder of 13 civilians in Slovi, Lipjan, special prosecutor Drita Hajdari has demanded that the same be found guilty and be convicted by law. Such a statement by prosecutor Hajdari has been made Thursday at the Foundation Court in Pristina, on the [...] case.

Such a statement by prosecutor Hajdari has been made Thursday at the Constitutional Court in Pristina, on the grounds of giving the final word in this criminal case.

Stanisic is charged that in April 1999, during the war in Kosovo, in co-operation with other persons of Serb police forces unidentified so far, he had participated in the expulsion of the civilian population and in the execution of 13 murders and other illegal acts, reports the “Justice Vought”.

Hjadar has said that the first slide point of the indictment is based on witness testimony D.H. and Mr. The G., heard in this court review, under which he claims it has been uncontained since April 15, 1999, five members of the Gashi family, M.G., O.G., E.G., A.G. and B.H. have been killed in the village of Slovene and have seen Stanissic present and shot at their family members.

Despite what is relevant, they have identified the accused Stanisic as entering their backyard and shooting at the five members of their family and killing”, said prosecutor Hajdari.

Regarding the indictment's two slide point, prosecutor Hajdari has said that based on the testimony of witnesses B.B. and F.G., the safe way has proved that accused Stanissic has participated in the F.B.'s murder.

Even for the indictment's three-cycle slide point, where Stanisic is accused of taking part in the murder of six Albanian civilians in the village of Slovi, special prosecutor Hjadar has supported the witness testimony.

On the other hand, the four point of the indictment slide, where Stanisic is being accused of being a accomplice in Mr. G and the injury of A1, in the village of Trbofc, prosecutor Hajdari has relied on the testimony of A1 and other witnesses heard in judicial examination, in the testimony of the doctor who has provided medical assistance, and medical documentation for A1.

After that, the prosecutor has proposed that the alibi of accused Stanisic be refused, which the proposal has based on the contradictions of witnesses heard in the judicial investigation, because it is reasonable that family members defend accused Stanisic.

In the end, prosecutor Hajdari has proposed to the court that the accused Stanispic be found guilty and condemned by law, and on the case of pronouncing the sentence take into account all the circumstances in the case.

The injured F. B, R. B, MP, H.B., B.B., S.B., have supported the final word of the prosecutor Hajdari, as well as have demanded that justice come to the country and the accused be punished according to the law, while the same have not filed a wealth-juridical request.

While the defender of the accused Stanispic, lawyer Ljubomir Pantovic, in his final address has asked the tribunal to release him from the prosecution because he did not commit the same crimes he was charged with.

Pantovic, has said that the defence has not initially denied the fact of crimes that occurred on April 15th 1999 in the village of Slovi in Lipjan, nor the crimes that have occurred in the village of Trbboc on April 16th 1999, but, according to him, have denied the fact that these crimes were committed by accused Stanissic.

In addition, Pantovic has questioned the credibility of testimony to witnesses in which the prosecution has backed the indictment, since his testimony to these witnesses is controversial and unreliable.

But accused Stanisic has upheld his defender's final word, as well as said he does not feel guilty.

I'm sorry about all my natives from the Slovenian village, about what happened, and crime in the village of Slovi, but I'm not guilty and I haven't helped that crime in any way, and I've never felt guilty of myself”, said accused Stanisic in his final word.

The chairman of the court, Judge Valon Kurtaj, has declared that judicial consideration in this criminal case is complete, while the plea of the trial is expected to take place on 5 October 2021.

According to the indictment filed by the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo, accused Goran Stanisic, as a member of Serbia's Ministry of Internal Affairs reserve police, in April 1999, during the war in Kosovo, in opposition to the rules of international humanitarian law, during a broad and systematic attack by Serb paramilitary and police forces against the Albanian civilian population, in the villages of Slovi and Trbov, in co-operation with other members of this entity, had participated in the expulsion of the Albanian civilian population and in committing illegal acts and other illegal acts.

As reported in the indictment, on April 15, 1999, in the village of Slovi in the Lipjan municipality, the defendant in interaction with other members of the unit had gone to the G family's backyard, ordered the members of this family out of the house, and after they had left, had separated the men from the women, forced the women and children out of the yard on the street.

The indictment is said to have later, in the presence of witnesses Mr.G. and her daughter J.H., who had not yet left the courtyard, lined them up near the wall of the M.G. court, his two sons O.G. and E.G., and his two grandchildren, A.G. and B.H., and then shot them with automatic weapons, and they had all killed them in the country, then forced Mr.G. and X.H. to leave the courtyard.

On the other hand, the indictment says that the same day and in the same village, in interaction with other members of the unit, by vehicle had gone to the courtyard of the family home B. After they left the car, they had fired automatic weapons toward F.G., B. B, F.B. and R.B., who had been in the yard near the well, and they killed F.B. by shooting him in the back, and F. G, B.B. and R.B. had escaped running in different directions from the scene.
