(5 years ago)The candidate of the Democratic League of Kosovo, for chairman of Ferizaj, Sbel Halimi, in the continuation of the governing programme, has said women and girls daily face discrimination and challenges from different backgrounds. <x)
The lack of access to the labour market, health services and education are some of the challenges that we will jointly overcome”, Halimi has launched.
Furthermore, she has promised to create mechanisms for girls to be safe on the streets and in school environments.
Under the subsidy of private businesses which employ women we will aim at empowering women in the labour market. We're going to create a special programme for the support of women entrepreneurs and initiatives that come out of women through Start-Up”, Halimi underlined.
In the end, she has said that women will be part of each dimension of decision-making.
