The message finally came after the Albanian top diplomat cited the mutual recognition between Kosovo and Serbia as key to building a stable and prosperous future for the Western Balkans.

We also believe there is always room for improving co-operation, as long as it is based on respect ʹ interference in each other's internal affairs does not help”, the Serbian Embassy's response said.

Gacka today met with Serbia's new ambassador to Albania, Slobodan Vukchev, and has written on Twitter that mutual recognition between Kosovo and Serbia is the key to building a stable and prosperous future of the Western Balkans.

“I welcomed Serbia's ambassador to Albania, Slobodan Vukchevic. Albania and Serbia have made obvious progress in leaving behind the difficult past.
