School texts are missing: MSTATI blames education directors and asks them to provide

It has been nearly two weeks since the new school year began, and students have not yet been equipped with all textbooks from the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and innovation, even though the start of the new school year has started in four weeks late. Until, when they talk about their difficulties at school, THE [...]
Lack of textbooks is mostly facing sixth, seventh and ninth graders, where they are faced for these classes. AugustI has only distributed alternative texts.
Schools are being forced to use the old books used by students during the past school year, which is not very good, and most workbooks are complete.
primary school director “Emin Duraku, in Pristina, Visar Osmani, announced that only alternative and seventh classes have not accepted any textbooks on the part of the ministry, while for sixth and seventh classes only alternative texts.
He says that these classes are trying to provide textbooks that have returned from students last year, and in cases where all students are unable to supply, they must be bought new ones from their parents.
“For ninth grade has officially shown us that there won't be this year, while for six, seven, eight only alternative books, while others remain to be provided with what has restored children and if we don't have reservations to make solutions to parents or students to exchange with their friends and friends in other schools. It means we have a remaining container and I told it about six, seven and eight of them have just brought alternative books, while the rest of us have to make solutions... now the ones that are, better than they are at all, are marked, examples of work sheets, but whatever the best they are, they're not much damaged, they've had kids careful and we have to use them again this year. I don't think it was a good choice, but we've been forced to”, he says.
The sixth grader in the school is also missing the book of the Albanian “Gjuage”, which the educator of this Zarige Baygora-Godac, says is very difficult to learn when students do not have the book before themselves.
I've been legalist in ninth grade since there's been a lack of text for Albanian Gyjus, we've only had the Albanian Army book, and students have been forced to secure it on their own since this year. Rather, our conscience should be absorbed in the sixth grade, given that they have come from the lower cycle and the moment they lack the book, then their desire for instruction is denied. We've been working with staff at the school to provide you with students from the past few years, but given that we have the basic book and the work book, the work book is written, it's fulfilled from last year, so there's a little bit of a drop in interest. We hope, though, that the next few days will be provided, the parents who remain without the security of the texts provide. Lack is also in the sixth, seventh and ninth classes, and only in eighth grade has the book come to APUah and Albanian literature”, she says.
There are sixth-graders at primary school “Emin Duraku”, who say they are having difficulty learning from non-books.
The sixth - grade student, Emma Sliveva, says that they could better understand the lessons if they had the book in front of themselves.
We have a little bit of difficulty that we can't really understand lessons, we can't understand the things we're talking about without turning it back on the book, and we ourselves”, she says.
Another student of this class, Eron Mayaci, says that they are failing to complete their homework because of lack of books.
It's hard because we can't understand a lot of things... to learn and do homework”, he says.
Meanwhile, Education Minister Arberie Nagavci has written that in recent days he has accepted numerous complaints about the absence of several textbooks, so he has informed that on June 15th, the Education Ministry has announced all municipal education directors that this year it will distribute textbooks for I-5 and for students of the 8th grade textbooks 6 and 7 and textbooks for German and French language subjects.
At the same time, August has notified them. The reasons that, according to administrative instruction, classroom texts 6, 7 and 9 will be used in the preceding year, so schools have had to make sure that students of these classes return textbooks at the end of the school year. Based on demands that the municipalities have made, MASTI has contracted publishing houses and made the distribution of textbooks. Thus, the distribution of texts has been made in full respect for the demands that have come from the Communist Directors of Education. I inform you that as a minister, we have received no complaints in connection with textbooks from the Municipal Education Directorate. After accepting concerns on the part of parents and reports by several educators, I have sent several commissions to pay visits to schools to ensure that the process of distributing texts from the DKA has been implemented on the basis of pre-requisite requirements. During these visits we have been informed that the DKA, in some cases, were not at the right level of duty, not planning textbooks for students of all schools and not making exact requests in relation to the number of students, and in some cases, the commissions for accepting texts were formed with non-competitive persons (technical workers)<1>, she wrote encouraging schools and DKA to prioritize the handling of the textbooks issue and to make sure that all students have textbooks and continue the learning process.
If there was any August1 failure to fulfil our obligations, we are willing to meet immediately, even though we have no such information thus far”, she wrote.
The new school year has started four weeks late due to the high number of cases with COVIDD-19. During July, the Kosovo government has shared the ministry of education, science, technology and innovation with fourm euros in additional euros for the purchase of textbooks.
