According to her, past practices in the Ferizaj municipality have reflected a deep lack of gender inclusion.
Halimi, said we have prepared special strategies for economic empowerment and employment of women, where he added that women-led businesses will have full support of the municipality and priority in subsidies will have women employing businesses.
Then Halimi also noted some parts of the governing program, such as:
- Assess for students, public and private sector practices and free transportation will be an incentive for girls not to abandon schooling.
-The funding of housing, the involvement of psychologists and social workers in educational institutions and social centres will be an urgent measure we will take in preventing domestic violence.
