The SBASK has demanded that, on October 18th, Monday, no school lessons be held, but this day will be used to disinfect them after local elections held Sunday.
“The SBASK has supported the Kosovo Commission Association proposal that on Monday 18 October no instruction be held in Kosovo schools, but that day be used for the ventilation and disinfectation of all school facilities in order to create preconditions for student health and educational workers.
This proposal is hit because on Sunday 17 October school facilities will be used to hold local elections and in their environments will have the presence of many voters, and there is reasonable fear that the virus can come and stay in school and then endanger the health of students and all school staff, and this would also cause us to have an incision in the learning process, which is currently well running.
The SBASK believes that even AugustI will analyse the matter and will bring a merit decision on Monday, October 18th and will support the Education Directors to monitor the situation and contribute to the prepared and sure-to-do schools to continue with the curriculum”, the report says.
