The suspect is currently located under a 48-hour ban.
From RGK they have called on the Constitutional Court of Gjilan to treat the case in line with the Kosovo Criminal Code, Article 227 for the “Dunim”, respectively.
“RGK specifically requires that this case be treated with gender sensitivity, as envisioned in the Istanbul Convention, as well as to ensure the victim's psycho-social treatment. And by means of this statement, we announce that RGK will closely present the case and seek to establish justice in the country. RGK will not stop until violence against girls and women is treated not only as daily news or as private matter”, the announcement says.
