Numerous sources linked to film production told the TMZ that the gun was shot at overtime gatherings, which may explain how a direct round found its way into the gun room.
Another source that was in the Shooting Square told the TMZ that when the police arrived, they found real ammunition and empty bullets stored in the same area, where fatal mix could have occurred.
Officials have not confirmed the claims, broadcast the TMZ.
Alec Baldwin was involved in an accidental shooting shoot that left a member of the film team “Rust” dead.
On Thursday, officials responded to a call at the Western set near Santa Fe, New Mexico, after Baldwin had fired without knowing the gun, hitting 42-year-old Hutchins in the chest and killing him. Also injured is director Joel Souza, 48, who was behind her.
