To ensure effective maintenance of street cleanliness, candidate Rama has seen the separation of cleaning in four areas (North, South, East, and West), increasing the number of contractors from 1 to 4, as well as maintenance process not only during working hours, as it is now, but during 24 hours.
Candidate Rama also plans regular cleaning and maintenance of wells, which are one of the causes of problems with the flows of different parts of the city. He also plans investments in co-ordination with the K.R.U. Pristina, in resolving the deadlock of the fecal channeling network at many points.
Another important point, in the Rama candidate programme, is the purity of schools. As highlighted in the programme, many schools in Pristina currently have toxic and dangerous toilets. The Rama candidate has the priority of eliminating this problem so that children do not be exposed to such unpleasant and harmful environments.
