Rama, a large area in his programme, also gives the environmental issue to Pristina for a cleaner capital and larger green spaces.
In the Rama Progress programme, Pristina will become much cleaner, even because of the redefinition of the city centre, which will create green spaces dedicated to all residents. Also, Rama in the first term will make big investments in the Germia Park as a very frequent destination in Pristina.
To understand some of the environmental key points in Rama's Progress program, read its complete program in the link below:

The centre's redefining will free the city from inflation, create green spaces dedicated to all residents. The greening paths for walking, for individuals with special opportunities and for alternative transport will make us feel that the city is really ours. The many secret and cultural activities that will enable new green spaces are concrete, and concrete things unite us!
Lack of cars in these areas will significantly affect a much cleaner air environment. Of course, parks will be added and maintained.
Today, when we think of urban Pristina in terms of green spaces, we certainly have some kind of urban chaos and somewhere outside of it a green dot that is Germia. Green Pristina's borders are limited only to our minds, because actually Pristina around it is a natural miracle. Pristina villages have an extraordinary potential for economic development and investment, especially in infrastructure. A major role in Pristina's limited perception plays lack of connecting infrastructure between the urban part and villages. When surrounding villages are strengthened, we help the economy, and they stimulate new opportunities for residents of the urban and rural areas for tourism, and a variety of sports and activities in the wild. In time, the goal is that our perception of green Pristina push borders beyond Germia.
Of course, management and recycling of waste is the main key to clean Pristina. This will be done with rigorousity and no concessions. Special attention will be given to field work to achieve that goal. Current problems in Pristina are closely interconnected, and there is a clearer picture of how solving a problem automatically results in improving another: how building schools in needy countries frees city traffic, and how lowering traffic helps the environment, and how green spaces and cleanliness affect our health for good. This is just one of many similar examples.
