The head of the northern Mitrovica municipality, Milan Radojevic, has indicated that, in line with the agreement reached in Brussels, today they have begun issuing a lane of road so KFOR can pass and deploy.
“... they began with the release of a lane so that KFOR units can pass and take over” position, Radojevic has declared.
According to Radojevic, following such an action, the special Kosovo Police Unit must begin withdrawing.
“You can see for yourself a large number of KFOR soldiers, we expect everything to go smoothly and in line with the agreement and without any problems”, Radojevic told Kosovo Online.
Under the agreement reached in Brussels, barricades and special police and Kosovo units will be withdrawn in parallel.
