The reason was pressure on BN television from Bijeljina, which Serbian presidency member Milorad Dodik accuses of being “trandary”.
“Mile (Dodick), go! Mile, thief! ” shouted out protesters who gathered in the city's central square at the invitation of the largest opposition parties.
Democratic Progressive Party President Branislav Borenovic said the opposition “would expel the unpopular regime” next year and send some of the authorities to prison.
“We want to overcome evil, regime and tyranny and show that this could be a free and normal country. Never should we think of killing their people, media freedom, and that's why we'll defeat and overthrow them”, Borenovic said.
Banja Luka Mayor Drasko Stanivovovic announced that the opposition is launching a ruthless fight against Dodik's crackdown, calling the protest the start of a <x0-> uprising against the private state”, which will continue.
He promised that in Banja Luka, it would never happen again that police would disperse protesters with sticks.
