Prizren: Police catch over 11 kilos of marijuana

The Narcotics Traffic Investigation Directorate has been able to pick up 11 kilograms [11 kg] and 100 grams] of marijuana substance.

The event has been held in Prizren with cʹrast in handcuffs, and a man about 45 years old has fallen on S.T. initials.

The suspect according to information provided by the police kept the narcotics in his house.

As the Regional Police Directorate reports in Prizren, houses, escort facilities and the suspect's vehicle have been raided.

The raid was also assisted by the Gjakova and Pristina anti-drug units.

“On the date 03.10.2021, Kosovo Police, Directorate for the Investigation of Narcotics ʹ Regional Unit in Prizren, through operational routes has accepted relevant information from the ground that the S.T. (1976) suspect in Prizren, in his house has alleged narcotics substances of marijuana”.

The state prosecutor has been notified about the case, while with the verbal consent of the judge of the preliminary procedure, search and raiding of the house, escorting facilities and vehicle of the suspect listed. The search has been carried out with the assistance of anti-drug units in Gjakova and Pristina, NJRSH in Prizren, Forenzica from DPS to Prizren, as well as DKKO in Pristina”.

After the raid the police seized as material evidence:

Two hunting rifles and 15 bullets;

A pistol, with empty mags;

A white sack and a black sack of plant bodies and leaves of sativa cannabis with a total weight of 22,000 grams;

A black sack of leaves of the cannabis sativa trees with a total weight of 2100 grams;

Suspected narcotic substance of marijuana (with the body of plants) weighing 1,000 grams;

A black sack of plant bodies and leaves of sativa cannabis weighing 1900 grams;

The alleged narcotic substance of the type of marijuana weighing 900 grams;

Suspected plants cannabis sativa with a total weight of 3,000 grams;

12 sativa cannabis plants planted in the area called “LAKE “near Tuqe village near the White Drini River;
