At one of the most important international film festivals, the Sundance festival, “Zgjoi” won the award for best film and for the public's award, while Bashal grabbed the best director award.
Besides being a masterpiece, this history of war and perseverance is an inspiration”, Osmani had said of currently the most successful Albanian film on the international stage.
The movie premiere is given at the Cineplexx cinema in Pristina.
