Kosovo police have come up with a media communique following last night's intervention for the threat Prime Minister Albin Kurti has taken.
Police report that the investigation has been initiated in connection with the case and they are continuing, as given the current investigation and risk assessment, police confirm that the rapid reaction unit has left the location.

Kosovo police, following receiving information concerning the threat to Kosovo Republic Prime Minister Albin Kurti, have immediately taken all necessary operational investigative measures and actions.
Initially, Kosovo Police have stepped up the prime minister's personal security measures, including the immediate defence, but has also sent quick reaction units from the Pristina Regjion to two police officials, to security at the prime minister's residence. Kosovo police confirm that no special units officials have been engaged in this activity.
Regarding the case immediately, investigations have been initiated and they are continuing, given the current investigation and risk assessment, the rapid reaction unit has left the location.
Kosovo police will continue their commitment towards providing security to the country's personalities and its citizens, including the investigation and treatment of all cases.
