The Democratic Party of Kosovo(PDK) has asked the Kosovo government to reconsider the decision on the pipeline, so the parliamentary group's chief has said. PDK, Abelard Tahiri. According to him, Kosovo should not reject such a project, and the decision not to accept this project is extremely damaging to Kosovo. Tahiri has indicated that the next meeting of the Parliament's Headship will be set for parliamentary debate over the issue.

Tahiri has said Kosovo is entering an energy crisis like the region and several European countries.

Our country is entering a situation or an energy crisis as it is entering the entire region and a large part of Europe, so the alternatives are always important, the more we are talking about a project that is being funded by the United States Government, a grant that amounts to about $200 million, and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo refused to do a huge damage to the country in our long-term perspective and in proportion to our most important partner in construction state, as the United States is. Therefore, we call on the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to review this decision regarding co-operation with the United States on gas issues, we think that Kosovo does not have the luxury of rejecting such a” project, Tahiri has said.

In addition to the Alliance's call for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, for parliamentary debate over the pipeline, the PDK has asked for it.

T

The “in the next chairmanship meeting I believe will be held next week, it will be decided that the gas issue at the next session of the Assembly will be put up for parliamentary debate, Tahiri has added.

While Economy Minister Artane Rizvanolli said days ago that the decisions they make for energy should be well informed
