Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Abelard Tahiri has been declared to the media following the failure of the Assembly of the Parliament's Headship.
Tahiri said the Vetevendosje Movement has not been part of this meeting, and that is why it says guilt is the latest election result.
The “today was meant to have a chairmanship meeting, and within this week we call the next session, but apparently after the last election result, the majority does not have much will to be in the Assembly and push this parliamentary agenda forward, yet we urge them to be in the Assembly because they have legal and constitutional obligations, as well as the chairman, parliamentary battles are important and I think they help further develop democracy in Kosovo. ”, Tahiri said.
He has further said that the appointment of two judges to the Constitutional Court is of particular importance that this institution does not face a lack of quorum, but has also mentioned the Procuration Monitoring Organisation, which now only faces a lack of quorum where many projects have been blocked.
At the next session are one of the two most important cases in the Constitutional Court, you know that now, the Constitutional Court is not facing a lack of corum, but in the absence of a judge there will be a shortage of quorum. Therefore, the Assembly is obliged to meet as soon as possible, we have proposals before ourselves and send two judges to the Constitution. You know that now and a long time ago, we've been promoting this issue, we've also asked other political forces to sit down and find a solution so that the Constitutional Court does not face no quorum. I believe the next few days we will be able to get the LVV-led majority to come to the Assembly and proceed with important points. Not only that, there are important points. You know that Kosovo has long been facing a lack of quorum on O The EPS, this is also the responsibility of the majority and there are many blocked projects and these answers should give LV's majority.”, Tahiri said.
Tahiri also has recognised that they are preparing a criminal exchange for the Kosovo government, respectively, as the UN says they have information on the start of implementing an international agreement with Austria, which has not been ratified in the Kosovo Assembly, which he says they believe is harmful.
“You know that the PDK on important projects for the state was a conflict, in the international agreement we were constructive and we didn't oppose projects related to the interests of the citizens of Kosovo and ours as a state, but where we are convinced that there are projects that should not be passed, like what was signed with Austria, a deal that has to do with education, and we've stressed even earlier that this is a very harmful and yet unconfirmed agreement, we have information that this agreement has started to be implemented by the Ministry of Education, this is a criminal act, this is a damage to the country that has been made and the PDK has been preparing for the days of criminal agreement. How come such a envisioned deal starts exploiting those tools, information says it's starting to be implemented, if that's the opposite, we ask the minister to testify in the Assembly. The deal was now and several times it was in the Assembly, we didn't vote because we requested additional clarifications and we didn't get them. It's a Kosovo government agreement with Austria, it's a project ERAS+ that helps the Kosovo government on education issues, but has not been useful for our country. So those tools that would have to be ratified in the Assembly and then start implementation, have happened.”, Tahiri said.
The chief of PDK deputies has also spoken of the debate on the American gas pipeline, which the Kosovo government rejected, saying has become a strategic mistake that would harm the next generations in Kosovo.
He believes the Kosovo government should reconsider the decision to reject the American gas pipeline.
“As far as this debate is concerned, Kosovo's government has made a strategic mistake, a project designed to be financed by the US, and we think that such a strategic mistake that will cost future generations, should be sanctioned as soon as possible, Kosovo is the only country that is not involved by such gas flows and we refuse to come from the non-mic countries of Kosovo such as Russia. But we in no way connect nor allow Kosovo to be part of these networks. I think it's unacceptable and we as opposition deputies will prevent further damage. Kosovo citizens gave major remarks to majority elections, and we as opposition are trying to help rather than oppose them. You've seen all the bills we left ready, we haven't done their old ways. We don't believe that everything should start and end with a government. These are processes that start with one government and continue with another. Nothing in Kosovo starts or ends with the Kurti government. We think it's necessary to review this decision because what we've heard in the Assembly by Prime Minister Kurti has been misery, come to the point where it says some pipes don't break or correct the US report. Those pipes are also important to our security and well - being. ”, Tahiri said.
Otherwise, at the Kosovo Assembly Headship Meeting in addition to the majority, the Democratic League of Kosovo has also fought.
