October 17th local elections, 41 thousand, 12 citizens will vote for the first time

The CEC reports that of 41 thousand and 12 voters -- 24 thousand and 697 -- have reached the age of 18 after February 14th 2021 and 8 thousand and 937 voters, who could be considered registered for the first time in the central civil registry following the last parliamentary elections.
The final voter list for the 2021 Local Elections, which will be distributed at the polls on October 17th, contains:
A million and 885 thousand and 448 voter names, or 90 thousand and 586 more voters, compared to early elections for the Kosovo Assembly, which were held on February 14th 2021.
The number of new voters who will vote for the first time is 41,000 and 12 voters, of whom 24 thousand and 697 have reached 18 years of age after February 14th 2021 and 8 thousand and 937 voters, who can be considered to have been registered for the first time in the central civil registry after the last parliamentary elections.
Also, as new voters, 7 thousand and 378 voters are considered, who have been equipped with documents from the Republic of Kosovo following the February 14th elections and who had left the voter list because they have had only ID documents issued by UNMIK.
The number of names of people who have left the voter list as dead after early elections for the Kosovo Assembly on February 14th 2021 is 18 thousand and 252 voters, while the number of people who have left the list because they have renounced the citizenship of the Republic of Kosovo after those elections is 1,000 and 158 voters.
The number of polling stations throughout the Republic of Kosovo is 883 with a total of 2 thousand and 477 seats.
Meanwhile, the number of citizens rightly vote abroad who have managed to register successfully as voters outside Kosovo is 15 thousand and 532 voters.
The period of application to register as voters outside Kosovo began on July 10th and was completed on August 18th 2021. During this time, the Central Election Commission has accepted 18 thousand and 862 registration applications, of which 15 thousand and 532 have been approved, while 3 thousand and 320 apps have been rejected after failing to meet the judicial criteria.
All applicants who were successfully registered as voters outside Kosovo have had the opportunity to vote through mail during the period, which started on September 15th, while the ballots have had to be accepted by the CEC the most distant until October 15th, 2021.
