Light and Gjilan fans have repeatedly expressed their dissatisfaction with the current stadium in Gjilan, but also with the work up until the new stadium.
At the last of them, which is the most intense local den in Kosovo, they traveled towards Pristina.
But what was said today in the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo?
The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports pledged that it would increase the dynamics of jobs as it declared that the up to date dynamics of the works would imply that at least 20 years of life would be left without the stadium.
“The Gjilan Stadium is one of the biggest problems in sports infrastructure, what we found at the Ministry of Sports. With the dynamics of work and payment realisation from 2017 what is signed as a contract, if the same dynamic continues, it takes at least 20 years to realise that project. But we've set the budget. And we will do our best for the Gjilan stadium to be completed within this mandate. Cheko.
