Rizvanolli in “Speak openly”, the debate organised by the Fole Movement added that the energy crisis is expected to continue until June next year.
It has even invited citizens to save electricity and avoid electricity heat during winter, when consumption increases.
We don't rely entirely on exports, there's no room for panic, we're in consultation with everyone, and we're seeing what other countries are doing. We cannot touch as much, import winter increases, the crisis is expected to continue until June of the old”.
The more we import this will be reflected in tariffs during the following year. To save energy, over the next year will have impact, tariffs revised in April, leaving energy heat during this winter of”.
According to her, the worst situation is in public enterprises, adding that they have been exploited by different interest groups.
The situation is extremely heavy in public companies, we meet them very often, and I can say it's a pity that they've been used by interest groups. We'd have to talk more about these companies about how we could help them and not about crimes within these” companies.
Rizvanlo also related the misuse of several million who have been stopped by the ministry, reports EO.
We have prevented the misuse of several million and it is important to me that no misuse is allowed. I stopped the announcement of the new tenders, where we had some audit reports that were filed in the investigator and we didn't see anything was undertaken”.
I had to stop those activities. This is not good for us and our citizens, but rather to work properly and let us stop misusing”.
It also mentions three main areas that will be funded in the future by the MCC and related to the advancement of the power grid.
The first “has to do with advancing power grids, and lines and equipment, while the second field has to do with amplifying energy and investing in batteries for reserves. The third field is development of the skills of the workforce”.
In addition Rizvanolli said that as far as the gas issue is concerned, it is about hundreds of millions of investments and it would be irresponsible if the Government accepted such a project.
“We are talking about hundreds of millions of investments when even Europe does not have a position on gas, and we are at a time when gas power plants are not being used and are being made by coal because of gas prices. So that's why it would be irresponsible for us to take such an action”
The use of natural gas may have an efficiency in use, but there are very expensive costs on the other hand and the cost of production goes to consumer tariffs, and this has been among our reasons for not realising”.
Movement director “Speaks”, Medjidie Demolli-Niman, who has led this debate, asked the minister about the privatisation of KEDS and the distribution network, whether the contract is likely to be revised.
There are many problems besides privatisation that cause us problems. There's a lot of work like any contract signed. It's something that needs to happen because it depends on energy development”.
