Angela Merkel told reporters at the EU-Western Balkans summit that setting the deadline would put the EU on pressure.
“A deadline would put the EU under pressure whether the Western Balkans met the conditions set by the 27-nation bloc or not”.
At the EU-Western Balkans summit, which is being held in Brdo, Slovenia, leaders of the European Union and Balkan leaders are participating.
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti is among them.
