MCC shows how the truth for gas pipeline stands

The debate over the pipeline dominated the political scene in the country last weeks. At Monday's session of the Kosovo Assembly, Prime Minister Kurti, talking about building infrastructure in Kosovo for the gas pipeline, said that such decisions define the energy sector for future generations need care and analysis of all circumstances. According to him, about 10 meetings and workers with the US MCC have been held to see the modalities for implementation of the same.
The Millennium Challenge Corporation said that according to their functioning of the partner country of projects, in this case Kosovo belongs to the ownership of leadership and selection development and implementation of projects.
Deputy Director for Communication of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (Millenium Challenge Corporation), headquartered in Washington, Marc Rockwell-Papa said the MCC is looking forward to continuing its partnership with the Government of Kosovo to work on reducing poverty and promoting sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
“on the cornerstone of the MCC model is the country's ownership, which means partner countries lead to selection, development and implementation of grants projects. Perfecting the scope of potential compact investments is a positive step towards finalising and signing the MCC-Kosovo Agreement. The MCC is eager to continue its partnership with the Government of Kosovo as we work to reduce poverty and promote sustainable and inclusive economic growth”, he said.
Opposition parties have criticised Prime Minister Kurti for refusing to do so, but are rocking co-operation with the United States of America.
