Mavraj says he refused Kurt's invitation to the meeting: I have a principle

Muhamet Mavrej, one of the protest organisers of 1997, stated that there had been an invitation from Prime Minister Albin Kurti to attend the homazhes at Professor Ejup Statovci's tomb and also at a meeting with other organisers but that he had refused to go. For Clan K he declared [...]
For Clan K, he stated that the reason for this is that he has it as a principle since he has friends in power he doesn't fit and does not respond to their invitations to go neither to a prime minister nor to their homes nor to official meetings, because, as he said, “I'm also the editor of the newspaper<1>.
In addition, Mavraj said he is disappointed with the government for the last agreement reached between Kosovo and Serbia on the license issue, and also with some Kurti decisions he called strange.
Some of them are strange, some of his behavior is strange. Voter participation in Albania was a fool that sʹmats with nothing, is futile, is an unnecessary cooling of relations with Albania”.
Then there are some tones that aren't appropriate for our relationship with the United States. It has to be completely different to keep our friends safe, keep the Allies safe, see now the situation that without them we'd get out of this situation where we were, we could get a lot worse than this deal that's now about car signs”.
I think he needs more consultation or more return to that old society spirit so he doesn't lose his way. The old society is the spirit we've always had, our orientation has been accurate, NATO, the US, the EU this triangle doesn't play, and in this little plan I'm worried about.
“As far as the deal reached for the license plates is concerned, I am disappointed with lowering the level of special police in the Republic of Kosovo to the level with those gangs blocking roads there. I think this is unfair to the special police. As you know, they're going to pull out in eight hours at the same time and neither side can pull a minute before or after the other one, and that hurt me a lot”, Mavray concluded.
