So far the first part of the tender has been completed, containing 40 hand radars. The price for buying these hand radars was 780,000 euros as a framework contract for three years. The tender is won by “profit R. Bill B. I.”, worth offering 449,700 euros, reports “Voice”.
What performance will the radars have that Kosovo police will have?
The new police radar will be able to measure the speed of vehicles minimally starting at 1,000 meters, proceeding a measure of 0.33 seconds and the maximum speed they catch is 320 km/h. Within a second this radar will do three measurements and the margin of error is +/- 2 km/h.
These very important devices for road police will be equipped with GPS to locate, as they will be connected both via cables and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, with central systems.
However, these radars will have internal memory, with no access to manipulation.
