The polling stations are open at seven o'clock and close at 7:00.
Citizens of Kosovo today will turn to ballot boxes to elect their local representatives, asamps and mayors of 38 municipalities.
In these elections are 166 candidates for the post of mayors, 152 males and 14 women.
The number of candidates for municipal assemblies is 5,198, out of them 3,261 males and 1,937 females.
The total number of certified candidates is 5,364.
Meanwhile, the final voter list for the 2021 Local Elections, which will be distributed at the polls on October 17th, contains 1 million 885 thousand and 448 voters' names, or 90 thousand and 586 more voters compared to the early elections for the Kosovo Assembly, which were held on February 14th 2021.
The number of polling stations throughout the Republic of Kosovo is 883 with a total of 2 thousand and 477 seats.
