Lake Batala is cleaned, and self - awareness signs are set

The Alliance of Democracy in Kosovo (SDK) has organised activities for cleaning around Batlava Lake, also setting up signs carrying messages of civic awareness to safe drinking water.

The organisation's announcement says that they are committed to increasing civic awareness through various activities and at the same time aborting the institutions for water maintenance at Batlava Lake.

One of the ongoing demands has been to place baskets in the spaces around Lake, which are already located by the Podujevo municipality. In this regard, the SDK has also undertaken a cleaning action around Lake “Batlava” in Orlan, as well as several signs (placate) conscious awareness”.

“Contents of the plaques aims to influence citizen mass on the importance of drinking water and care for water conservation and maintenance. This activity is under the civic and institutional objective project to improve the situation for healthy environments, which financially supports the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports”, the report said.
